The fine print, in big letters
Terms
BillSwipe is a joke dating-app parody. Flirting is free. Paying with a real card is optional, and this page explains exactly what happens if you do. Short version: you're tipping the people who run the app, not rescuing anyone's actual bill.
1. Who runs this
BillSwipe is operated by madfoxdesign (the "operator").

2. Card payments are voluntary contributions to the operator
- Any card payment you make through BillSwipe (via Stripe Checkout) is a voluntary contribution to the operator, madfoxdesign.
- It is not a payment to the debtor and does not pay, settle or reduce any real bill, debt or obligation of anyone.
- The operator alone decides whether, how and how much of any contribution is passed on to debtors. You have no claim that it will be.
- You get no right to anything in return: no goods, no services, no rights, no romance. In-app effects (a bill marked as paid, confetti, a certificate) are part of the joke and have no legal or financial meaning.
3. No refunds
Contributions are not refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
4. Not tax-deductible
Contributions are not donations to a charity and are not tax-deductible. BillSwipe certificates are jokes, not tax documents.
Nejde o daňový doklad, dar není daňově uznatelný.
5. Virtual money
Budgets, "billions" and swipes inside the app are virtual and have no monetary value. Nothing in BillSwipe is an offer of credit, investment or financial help.
6. Be nice
Only upload photos you're allowed to share, and black out personal data (account numbers, addresses) on your bills. The operator may remove content or accounts at any time.
